“Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” — Luke 6:38
Stewardship is a Vatican II teaching on the role of the Laity in the evolving Church of the 21st Century. The people of God are His co-workers sharing in His creative, redemptive and sanctifying work. By recognizing that our gifts and giftedness come from God, we are invited to give our time, talent and treasure back in such a way as to be blessed for their goodness.
The responsibilities of the Stewardship Committee include helping parishioners recognize their gifts of Time, Talent and Treasure, and providing opportunities for utilizing those gifts in service to our parish community, and to local and worldwide Church communities. This committee meets monthly on the 2nd Wednesday. Meetings usually last 1 – 2 hours. New members who would like to help others in our community to find joy in giving of their gifts are always welcome. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Bruce Baker at 423-3712 or firstname.lastname@example.org
