Let’s Go Fishing …
It spite of the messy weather last weekend, it was great seeing so many coming to worship and praise our God. Last weekend, in the Spirit Alive message series, we heard Jesus invite disciples to come after him. He would show them how to fish for new disciples. We came to a better understanding of why we must do the same. So, the question this weekend will be how?
Most people fishing from a boat, drop anchor first. Spirit Alive has anchors. Each anchor is instrumental in our mission.
Recently, I’ve heard some initial reactions to Spirit Alive:
* Oh my God, that’s a lot to take in!
* Yes, it’s about time!
* Not interested!
* Wow, I’m in!
The response to Psalm 95 this weekend is “if today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts.” Let’s go fishing with open hearts. We know why, let’s look at how.
