I hope the break in heatwaves is allowing you some more outdoor time. It’s so important for our well being to get some fresh air and relaxation.
This weekend, the parish welcomes Fr. Joseph Ciar will preach at our weekend Masses. As part of the annual mission co-op, Fr. Joseph will appeal to our generosity to help in his religious community’s global service. Joseph was born and raised in the Province of Laguna in the Philippines. He is a member of the religious Institute of the Disciples of Mary. His community serves the diocese at St Simon Stock parish in Berlin New Jersey.
I’m happy to report our first two small groups are off to a great start. I’ve been to both groups and was uplifted by the conversations! Watch this fall as we grow the number of groups … you may want to be a part of that growing deeper, growing wider.
Speaking of fall, we’ll begin a new message series Blanket Mass weekend! More information will be coming about the theme soon.
