This weekend is Pentecost weekend … and our parish community celebrates its mission:
Moved by the Holy Spirit, we worship our God, love one another and inspire discipleship.
We have a week of events to celebrate and deepen our faith.
But first, due to the uncertain weather and likely wet grounds, the parish is going to rain date the parish picnic to Saturday, June 8th following the Saturday 4:00 PM Mass. Please God, it’s a good weather weekend.
In spite of the change for the parish picnic, we will have a wonderful weekend of celebrating, leading into our parish mission.
The Vigil Mass for Pentecost will be Saturday at 4 PM. On Pentecost Sunday, Mass will be at 8:30 AM in Woodstown and 10:30 AM in Mullins Hill. Be sure to wear some red to show you are alive in the Spirit!
On Monday, May 20th, and continuing through Thursday, May 23rd, we will welcome Fr. Larry Richards from The Reason for Our Hope Foundation. Fr. Larry has lead many parish missions and has spoken nationally and internationally about faith. Every night, he will speak beginning at 6:30 PM.
Monday will be prayer, Tuesday will be Mass and Love of others, Wednesday will be the Passion Talk and Reconciliation (Confession), and Thursday will conclude with Adoration and Healing. Something for everyone to deepen our faith. Be sure to invite a family member or friend.
Happy Pentecost … see you this weekend and for the mission.
Come Holy Spirit, and renew the face of the earth.
